Court release kishorchandra wangkhem from NSA detention today. After the Human Rights Group petitions The White House (United States) to CONDEMN the arrest of Mr. Kishorchandra Wangkhem, a journalist based in Manipur and help in RELEASING the seriously ill journalist held in Manipur (India) for a petty issue.
Kishorchandra a loving father of two beautiful small girls is in prison for a petty issue since November 2018 without any charge or trial under Indian draconian act (NSA) and still not freed.
Indian Supreme Court has already notified that criticism couldn’t be considered as sedition and Kishorchandra was released on bail on 26 November, as the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal West (Manipur), noted that he was merely expressing his opinion. However, after his release on 26 November, Kishorchandra was immediately taken into prison without any charge or trial under Indian draconian act (NSA) the following day.
