Moreh Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(South) dedicated a barbed wire fencing for Public Cemetery Moreh to the people on 27 May 2019. The public cemetery of Moreh had become a hub for stray animals due to lack of fencing. Seeing the worsening condition, locals of Moreh approached Assam Rifles to construct a perimeter fencing of the cemetery. Moreh Battalion took up this project and covered the Public cemetery with a barbed wire fence and provided an iron gate at the designated entrance and completed the task expeditiously in 15 days timeframe.

The attendees including HTC members, village Chairmen and villagers extended heartfelt gratitude to Moreh Battalion Assam Rifles for taking the initiative in fencing the Public Cemetry with barbed wire.
